Okay guys whilst many of you have redeemed codes and are happy I am very sad lol, because I have got no codes despite being on this site for a week almost 24/7 and I haven’t got one yet. One question; this site is based in the US right? Does that mean maybe, with me living in Scotland, that these codes won’t work? Because for many you it is mycokerewards.com where codes are entered but for me it is cokezone.co.uk? Does that explain why I never get a code?

Moreover, I think you guys get these quality codes off the coke caps. For me, the codes are printed on the underside of the coca-cola wrapper. Could this be critical?

After a bit of research, it seems that CokeZone for the UK and MCR for the US are two different programs. This has to be why none of these codes are working for you… I’m really sorry! Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Best of luck with CokeZone, on the bright side it looks like a really cool program…

Sorry again, Carl. Up until just now, I didn’t even realize that there was another program for the UK. I do know there are only one or two of us with sites like this here in the States. I would try searching something like “cokezone uk free codes”, and I did notice that there are a couple of people in the UK with personal blogs devoted to CokeZone, they popped up when I was trying to find info for you. Just do a search, and you’ll find them. Sorry I can’t help out more, good luck finding codes!

Hey tlr, great question! We look for them everywhere and each time we find caps or flaps they go in the bucket. We find them at parks and other places, but get most of them from the recycling programs at work. People buy lots of vending machine products, lol! Just lots of hard work to round them all up… hopefully we’ll always be able to find this many and keep the site up and running for a long time.
Of course, anybody who wants to donate their extra codes is very much appreciated.

Hi again, guys. I’m sure that people who are new don’t know how the site works and we’ll probably get some innocent questions from folks who haven’t read the FAQ or past comments yet. Let’s be patient, I want everyone to have fun on here and get along and get lots of codes.
I post codes at random throughout the day. This is so that I can be as fair as possible and not give codes to specific people. It’s first come first served. You’ll have to check back often just like everyone else for your chance to snag the code.
And don’t worry, I’m not going to block anyone unless they misuse the site by “taking codes and running” without saying anything, or else by harassing people or something. I don’t want to block anybody else, but I will if people can’t have some common courtesy.

Every once in awhile, MCR has a double points day. They will tell you a couple of weeks in advance and then give double the points for codes from specific products. (Sometimes its only Dasani codes, or Powerade codes, etc.) The most awesome part of it all is that these “bonus” points don’t count toward your weekly limit of 120. Therefore, on weeks when there is a bonus points day, someone could potentially earn up to 240 points including their “bonus” points. If anyone finds out when the next one is, please let us all know!

Good question, tlr. The “value” of points has significantly decreased lately- you have to spend more points, and it seems the quality of prizes has decreased. Most of what you can redeem your points for would cost much less to just go out and buy (if you even really wanted it).
I’ve read that you can use several of the Nike gift cards to buy an Ipod touch online. However, I’ve looked into this and it seems futile to try. The Ipod touch costs $299.99, so you would need a total of six (6) $50 Nike giftcards. Each $50 giftcard costs 2000 points. Therefore, to get an Ipod touch using your MCR points, you would have to save up over 12,000 points. I don’t even know if they charge shipping on top of that. This would take quite awhile, even for me.
So, I guess I could save up for that Ipod. Or get some magazines… The restaurant giftcards look really good until you read the fine print and realize you have to spend $100 in order to use your $50 certificate. No free meals there, lol!
Anyway, I already have a cheap $20 mp3 player that works just as well, if not better, than any Ipod out there. I also don’t really need any magazines or beach towels….So, I’ve decided to do this instead. I may never get anything out of it aside from the satisfaction of helping out some really nice people, but in the end, that’s enough to make it worth all the effort.

The Safeway program was available @ MCR under the ‘pickup points’ tab. You have to sign up for a Safeway account & can only get the points if they deliver to your area. I tried this last year when the offered 33 points but they don’t deliver here. If you Google ‘Safeway coke rewards’, you should find more info about it. hth

Hey NeedsCodes, I’m not sure if anyone figured out those 2 codes yet- they are coming up invalid, so if you can switch a letter and snag ‘em, go for it! Just be careful not to get locked out…Another code soon.

Hey AdventureMaster. I try to discourage people from doing that. When I notice that someone has posted as two different names, I usually call them on it. And if I find out people are doing that to snag more codes, I’ll block them from the site.
Hopefully we can keep FreeCokeCodes.com up and running for a long time. However, if people start abusing it and acting dishonestly, I won’t be able to and everyone will be out of luck.
I guess we’ll see.
