Did both codes come up invalid??
They both did get wet. I don’t know anything about the pepsi codes. While I was diggin in the local box bin, I decided to grab the pepsi ones too, to share with ya’ll. Can you or someone tell me what are the valid letters & numbers for pepsi codes. So I can try to make them out.
The 1st one might be a O on the in not a 0??

the codes you posted Its probably from the old Pepsi stuff promotion that’s over. Pepsi/rockband is the new promotion, codes are 12 characters long.

We haven’t had any lurkers today, I believe. That may have had something to do with it…
bossiethecow & Crista- I think that maybe the Pepsi codes come up as invalid when they’ve been used. I’m not sure they have two distinct error messages like Coke does. I could be wrong, not sure.

Sorry, but I haven’t been able to find out anything regarding the duplicate comment error. I’m not sure if there even IS a way to turn it off, or allow duplicate comments. If anyone knows a lot about wordpress, feel free to suggest something.

Crista, I’m sorry if you disagreed with my decision to post a special code for Armin as a birthday gift. And I respect your opinion. No, I would never email anyone a code. That is a clear violation of ColaGal’s rules. But, I posted that special code for several reasons. Armin had been here all day and had not received a single code. I know that feeling all too well. From my reading of the posts, I was totally aware that at any time Armin would be locked out and unable to even try to gain a code. I wouldn’t begrudge anyone a 3-point code, especially if that is the first one they every received from this site. Everyone “asks” for codes, but some are not as vocal. When someone types, “Good morning” or “ColaGal, are you here?” common sense is they are really typing, “I’m here. Hurry up now. Let the codes begin.” Will I remember Armin’s birthday, so that I know a special code was already given? Yes, for sure, because Armin’s birthday is 12 days before my birthday. And, I also wrote it down. Had it been your birthday, I would have done the same courtesy. Everyone is equal in my eyes. So please, let me know when your birthday has arrived. If I am here, you will receive a code from me in the very same way.
Another even more important reason for my action was to allow everyone, especially ColaGal and myself, to see if “lurkers” are still hounding the site. I don’t always come here for codes. In fact, I have given a lot more than I ever received. But, I read the posts to see what’s going on. I feel ColaGal’s aggravation when people “grab and go”. I already know who is greedy, who is polite, who is demanding.
And, my last reason was more or less to make this a community. I hoped to make code giving just as much fun as code receiving. I even tried to devise a way to allow more than one person to receive a code at the same time. Actually, I think it all worked out. It seemed like everyone enjoyed themselves.

You always bring some sunshine to the page when you post, and many people have been able to use the codes you’ve so graciously donated. I don’t really mind that you posted a code for Armin’s bday, it was very nice of you. I’m sure you can understand how it puts me in an awkward position when people ask me for codes individually. yes and no, jordan. The side thing will always stay the same (unless you change computers?) However, many people have the same icon. For example, Armin, Lisa, RNB, and Paul all have the same icon as me. So just by seeing the light blue icon, doesn’t really mean you know who it is.

Sure, go ahead and check back every hour or so…lol. Although you probably won’t have much luck.
Look, I’m already basically spoon-feeding you all these codes. Half the time I warn people so that they have a better chance. This is just a courtesy to help out some of the slower folks. I just don’t have the time to give everyone a ten minute warning each and every time I post a code. It’s first come, first served. If you can’t be bothered to refresh the site a few times, then someone else is going to get the codes. Sorry, I know it can be discouraging but I do the best I can to post them at different times of day so it will be random.

RNB – if you spend every second of the day refreshing this site, you are going to be wasting alot of time. I would suggest leaving a tab open and just refreshing every few minutes. It helps if you actually play/work on your computer alot.
