I absolutely cannot believe that a member of this site would ask another member to stop redeeming so many codes because they cannot get them as fast as the person redeeming them. I am sorry BOB, but I find this very offensive. What is on this site is fair game for all the posters & members & if someone is getting a lot of the codes then that is just too bad – guess you need to speed up a little & maybe you will get more yourself. To ask someone to hold off getting codes so you can get some would be like asking an entire crowd of people who have stood in line to get the latest iphone or something, not to buy them all up because you didn’t get there fast enough to get in the front of the line to get one yourself – who do you think you are????? It’s2Late waits & watches to get those codes & redeems them the same way everybody else does on this site. It is all fair game. If one member gets 200 & another never gets one – then they just need to get more on the ball & work harder to get them. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the post. If this site starts selecting certain people not to get so many codes – which I know Colagal would never let happen – then I will quit donating codes. I am gonna run that comment by them on Saturday when I go to buy my weekly lotto ticket – “hey guys, would you please hold back & not redeem one of those million dollar scratch off tickets people are getting because I can’t seem to get one & I want one really bad & would you tell the ones who have won lately that they can’t play for a while because they have won too much lately” – they are gonna laugh their heads off at me & ask me if I am crazy or something. Alright fair enough I just happened to notice that 85% of all of the codes are redeemed by 2Late alone. No problem, no harm done.

p.s. I constantly refresh my window and check to see if anything is posted, so yes, I am on, but even though the time for the posting of the code may say, for example 12:01 P.M., and I’m on there at 12:01, I still am not able to get the code before other people. I’m not really complaining or anything, just trying to make it fair for everybody, and not only me.

I’m not going to pick sides here but, that text from the rules Bob posted though doesn’t mean anything. This is the part he should have posted:

“If you redeem a code, please post a comment that says “RBM” or Redeemed By Me. This way, other people don’t have to bother logging in and trying to redeem a used code. Also, please practice common courtesy- if you get several codes one day, leave some for others the next.”

In the end, first come, first serve. I’m afriad there’s nothing left in this world as “common courtesy”. It’s the way it is, eat or be eaten.

Not to the defence of code beggers, I’ve never done it, nor will I, but I understand where they come from. Any site that has these codes posted to it, you always have the same one or two people who always get the codes. So I think they just get mad about getting any because you have these other people just take them all. Don’t get me wrong, code beggers piss me off, but that’s just part of being on these sites. Knowing that chances are you’ll lose more then you’ll win.

Looking at the rules for Wendy’s Summer of Real Promotion, I do see that the ninth prixe is a 30 point code for MCR. Since I did not land on “winner” on the wheel, I am certain that is why I did not get an email with the code.

Luke, I have asked several people in the area to save them for me. I also stock Coke products at a couple of stores just to get the codes off the twelve packs. When I go in a store I look to see if there is a bottle or empty twelve pack near the top and get them. My Mom, God bless her, sends me Powerade caps and twelve pack codes from another state. At boat ramps you can find quite a few. And what I’m donating now is nothing compared to last year. I was getting about 50 twelve pack codes from one place. Too bad they are not available to me this year. All it takes is a little effort.

The wendy’s code 329492855844 is good for one use per day. I tried it again today & it let me spin the wheel. Did’nt win this time. If it is one prize per person I guess im out after winning the 30 points anyway.

On June 24th/25th two different people tried to post using multiple names (see page 27). ColaGal very nicely asked them to please not do this because in the past people have tried to be sneaky and scam people for codes by pretending to be various people (I guess whenever they have a contest). One of them wrote a nasty email to ColaGal, so ColaGal blocked her. Some people are ungrateful.

That is why I (and probably everyone else) went for those.
If Darrell posts the codes here, everyone who sees them will go for them. If we do not redeem them, I guarantee a lurker will get them. If they are not courteous enough to post RBM, they will not leave a post with your name on it until you get it. If Darrell wants to send you or someone else codes directly (the only way that you can guarantee that no one else will get them) he can ask ColaGal to put him in contact with you via email. I did a trade with jmrxcoke that way.

Okay, I’ve been kind of busy lately and I’m afraid I’ve let this get out of hand. Tempers have gotten hot, and I think everyone needs to just calm down. Please. I’d like to invite you all to visit and reread our earliest few posts from last year. You’ll find that this isn’t the first time that someone has been accused of taking too many codes from this site. Since FreeCokeCodes.com started one year ago, several people have been asked to “leave some codes for others”. This does fall under our request to follow common courtesy- and some of the folks I’m talking about would then leave the site for a day after redeeming two or three codes, out of common courtesy. That being said, I don’t want to censor people or tell anyone they can’t take codes!!! I also like that the site is first come, first served. That makes it fair and lets people visit with ease, since we don’t require anyone to log in to view. Also, we’ve posted numerous suggestions and ideas to help people be first to redeem codes. All of the lucky people here refresh constantly, or else subscribe to the RSS, or something else that helps them. It’s all time and effort. I’ve never (and won’t) flat out ask a friend of our site to stop redeeming codes. It would defeat the whole purpose of the site if I were to direct who gets them!

Also, I’d like to please ask you all to give both parties involved a break. We can all understand how frustrating it is to put time and effort into something and feel like you get nothing back. Darrell… I don’t want the code, because I really can’t use it but I do believe you have to first redeem that code yourself and then it will email you a different code to use on the Livenation site. I only know this because I won a couple in the first go round but tried to redeem them last night only to find you cannot use more than one at a time and the tickets I wanted to buy were too expensive that way. I saw your question regarding a difficult to make out letter or number in your coke code. This is what I would do if I were you. There are only certain letters and numbers that are ever used in Coke Codes (about 20 different ones). I would just try each one until I hit upon it. If you try them all in one day, you will get locked out of your account, so try 5 per day and in 4 days or less, you will have completed your code. Here are the possible letters/numbers to try (Since you have already tried L and 7, you could skip those):
