They don’t have to…they can just throw them away or recycle them! And those who use them, they want something on the site too. The reason why I posted that was because I am trying to get points for things I need around my house that I cannot afford. I am very ill and I can not work. I just search every wheres I can and ask my friends to send me their codes, most of them do not. So I am doing what I can to help things work out for me. Won the $15 Best Buy card last night after all the icons matched up but never got an email and the confirmation page with all my info on it just kept reloading and it never took. That win doesn’t show up in the My Account – Where’s My… section of the site. I already sent them a message but I don’t think it looks good. Especially since it is not in that wins section. I swear I won, it just wouldn’t let me submit the confirmation.

Hi It’s2Late & all – everything is okay. Thanks for the nice email I got from you checking up on me. I was on vacation for a few weeks went to Cairo IL & Kentucky doing book research & have been in writer mode for a while, so I get little else done. Just taking a break from the site for a bit. The ungrateful attitudes were getting to me. The nerve of some people is apalling. To ask you not to get anymore codes & to call ColaGal a liar, then to not even apologize for it is the worst of ungratefulness. I’m gonna wait a few more weeks until the ungratefuls move on. Then I will be back on there donating codes in my code puzzles as usual. Love you & ColaGal & miss you & the nicer people on the site, but I will be back. I am watching the site from time to time, but mostly taking a break from it. I guess what upset me the most about it all is – when someone gives something, even something as little as a 3 point Coke code, it should be accepted with gratitude, not try to control how that gift is given, when it is given, who gets to have it, or try to tell others to stay away from it. It’s called life & not all is fair in life. But, I think that this site is offering a very fair way for all who want those codes to get them. She should have blocked those people from the start of their tyrades, that is what I would have done. Life is too short & none of us need those hassles. When something gets to me I step back from it for a while & I have a lot going on in my life with the tourism & planning tours for 50 to 75 bus loads at a time about 6 times a month, tours of my house, the courthouse, the jail & its restoration – which I am smack in the middle of. Being in zoning & trying to get more ordinances passed in Carlinville, securing the Greene County boot camp for work at the old 1869 jail, working on two books at the same time & then family and kids &……. You know, you & ColaGal are as busy as I am, yet we all take the time to make these codes available to people & that is how we are repayed. They can only blame themselves – it was their attitudes that made me stop donating or they could have had a lot more codes. If I had been in ColaGal’s shoes I would have stopped all code donating and posting for a week as punishment to all.

It would be awesome if everyone trying for codes were able to get them. I have noticed that some people seem to have a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Canary, you are correct in prize quality and availibility. MCR is severely lacking in both. But I’m mainly refering back to two or three years ago. Prizes that were listed were less than half of what they cost today, and you could enter ten codes a day, or up to two hundred each day with case codes. Two hundred fifty if you had access to 30 packs. That’s 91,000 points per year. Today you are only allowed 6,240 per year. And prizes were about one third of the current cost. Big difference when you do the math. So I will go on up to about 10,000, then probably get $250.00 in Nike codes. Not a whole lot else to choose from. I’ve spent several thousand in the past on sweeps, have never done well there, so I figure that is pretty much a waste. But in the past it was a lot better than now.

Darrell’s codes were RNBM. I took a long break from MCR and finally continued using my account a few months ago. You are definitely correct regarding the rewards program in the past. I believe that the 3 main game consoles were once available on MCR. Since then everything went downhill and we are now being offered dirt cheap rewards.

Bob, all you have to do is go out and look around. If you live near a lake, go to the launching areas and you can find a lot of 10 and 20 point codes. Same with dump sites if you have access. And when you get gas, look in the trash bins at the pumps. Folks always clean out their cars while getting gas and you can find a lot of caps that way. I recommend a pair of disposable gloves. It just takes a little effort. Good luck and happy hunting.

Does anyone have any hot tips on winning instant games, I’ve been trying for months and have never won a thing. How about doing the lottery thing every once in a while? I did the 35 points within 30 days and did not receive 50 bonus points. I called the helpline and they had not heard of this bonus. It’s2Late, you speak of giving the codes redeemed from here to another place, and of this I have no doubt. And I admire the charitable reasons you do so, what ever they may be. I once sent MCR a lengthly message asking that they allow a person to enter more points than the weekly allowable limit if the extra points could go to one of the charities listed on the MCR site chosen by the donor. About three or so months ago I gave 1000 points to one of the charities and it takes about 2&1/2 months to recover from that. So I firmly believe if a person was allowed to enter extra points under the obligation they go to charity, then a lot more charities would benefit. I enjoy giving, and do so quite often, but I also like to go after prizes for gifts or personal use. By the way, I never received any response from MCR about my suggestion.

No, let’s not block poor Bob, he is kind of funny. And I would give him some codes but I’m afraid he would try to find where I live and want to give me a hug. And Joseph, if you have been looking here for 25 points for several months, you need to look elsewhere. I could find 10 caps at night while blindfolded and dodging traffic on a busy six lane.
